Beautiful original vintage postcard personalized, signed and inscribed by Russian born French pianist Alexander Brailowsky, dated in his hand “New York, Nov. 27th 1924.” Signed just a few years after Brailowsky made his 1919 concert debut in Paris, he specialized in the works of Frederic Chopin. In 1924 Brailowsky gave a recital in Paris of the complete cycle of works of Chopin, the first in history, using the composer’s own piano for part of the recital undertaking a world tour making his American debut at Aeolian Hall in New York City which is when this postcard was signed. 3.5 X 5.5. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
