Photographic Print of Sikorsky Built Flying Boat, signed and inscribed by aviation pioneer Igor Sikorsky and dated in his hand 1935. Sikorsky founded Sikorsky Aviation and designed the first American helicopter and these ocean crossing flying boats first flown by Pan American Airways in the 1930s. 19 X 16. Minor creases. Very good condition. This lot comes from the extensive personal collection of a life-long collector of Historical, Entertainment and Sports artifacts and memorabilia. The collector has amassed a virtually unmatched collection that is one of the largest we have ever seen.
