Nirvana Kurt Cobain Owned, Stage Played & Hand Painted Guitar - Smashed by Friend on Stage 11/15/1993 with Photographs!
Offered here is an incredible piece of Nirvana History, one of Kurt Cobain’s actual stage played guitars, which he hand painted with the names of the groups he toured with.
This guitar was played by Kurt Cobain and band member Pat Smear during their tour. On 11/15/1993, during Nirvana’s show in New York, Pat Smear was playing this guitar, and handed it to our consignor, Simon. Smear coaxed Simon into smashing the guitar on stage, to which he did. This is actually photographed and documented.
Kurt Cobain’s guitars are incredibly rare and desirable. This guitar has unbelievable provenance and would be an excellent addition to any Nirvana collectors.
