Mother Teresa Signed Prayer Card.
A Mother Teresa signed prayer card made of paper that is dated April 4, 1986. The card has "+LDM," "Dear Suzanne" and "28.4.86" typed on the card at the top, and it refers back to the Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta receipt to Suzanne Heinz for a donation made by Suzanne a few days prior. Also with the lot is a pamphlet with Mother Teresa's picture on the front, all written in German. Mother Teresa's signature is in a blue ink.
Mother Teresa founded Missionaries of Charity, a religious congregation, which grew to have over 4,500 nuns across 133 countries as of 2012.[6] The congregation manages homes for people who are dying of HIV/AIDS, leprosy, and tuberculosis. The congregation also runs soup kitchens, dispensaries, mobile clinics, children's and family counselling programmes, as well as orphanages and schools. Members take vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience and also profess a fourth vow: to give "wholehearted free service to the poorest of the poor."
