From the Frank DiLeo Michael Jackson collection, this is the original prop sign that was used by Michael Jackson for his movie "Moonwalker" a 1988 music anthology film starring Michael featuring a collection of short films, several of which are long-form music videos from his "Bad" album. The sign comes from DiLeo's personal collection as he was co-Executive Producer with Michael on the film. This sign was used for a clay animation scene where Michael is depicted as a rabbit riding a motorcycle who stops to moonwalk and then sees this sign. DiLeo, whose prolific career in the record business touched numerous artists, was best known as Michael Jackson's manager from 1984-1989, who won Michael's attention because of his pivotal work in the extraordinarily successful marketing of "Thriller". DiLeo was also co-executive producer along with Michael for Michael's film "Moonwalker" and came back to work with Michael on his 2009 "This Is It" final concert series project that came to an abrupt end when Michael tragically died just prior to the first concert. Measures 22 x 28. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity and a letter of provenance from the DiLeo family.
