The Jackson 5 is one of the most influential and successful pop bands in history. The group was founded in 1964 in Gary, Indiana, largely by the influence of their father, Joe Jackson, and for most of their career consisted of five brothers: Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael. The family’s youngest son, Randy, would eventually join his brothers on stage and wound up replacing brother Jermaine, who chose to stay with Motown Records when the rest of the band joined CBS Records.
This 8” x 10” color photo shows the Jackson 5 in concert costumes posing. Clockwise from bottom left are Randy, Marlon, Jackie, Tito and Michael. The photo was signed by the talented Michael in light blue fine-point marker.
