From the personal collection of Irwin and Clarine Pate, these are Michael Jackson's owned and worn Ray-Ban Aviator sunglasses. The sunglasses come with their original Ray-Ban eyeglass case.
Irwin Pate was a renowned entertainment booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades. He promoted talent all over the United States. During his long, illustrious career, Irwin and and his wife Clarine obtained a large, very impressive collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. According to the detailed letter from Clarine Pate that comes with the sunglasses, Irwin knew Michael Jackson and worked with him on several occasions. During one of their meetings, Irwin told Michael about his collection. Michael then gave Irwin some items that he no longer needed, including these Ray-Ban Aviator sunglasses, and they have been in the Pate's collection ever since.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with a few scratches.
