Offered here is one of Michael Jackson’s iconic white gloves that he wore during the production of the famous Pepsi Cola commercial. The glove comes from Larry Cohen, who worked in the production for the company “Showlites Inc”. He worked on the load for the Shrine Auditorium as well as set up & lighting rig during the prediction of the show. He was in the CatWalk working the following spotlight. Per Larry, “This glove does not have any glitter or shiny fragments. This glove was one of many he wore during the Pepsi Cola commercial rehearsals. Some of these gloves were signed. I was a Follow Spot Operator & up in the Cat Walks. I had a good view of what was going on, on & around the stage. When the pyro went off, I originally thought someone was firing a gun. I hit the grid as if there was someone trying to shoot & kill Mr Jackson. I climbed down to the stage area, picked up one of the gloves that he wore. We were then interviewed by authorities. I have kept this glove since January 27 1984”. An incredible opportunity to acquire one of Michael Jackson’s actual gloves, that he used during one of the most horrifying times in his career. Comes with a Letter of Provenance from Larry Cohen and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
