A beautiful long sleeved reversible kimono style coat that was owned and worn by actress Marilyn Monroe. This item is beautifully made and is in very good condition for its age. Marilyn owned this coat during the 50's and it comes from the collection of famed Hollywood wardrobe man, costumer & friend of Marilyn, Kent Warner. Mr Warner is best known for his involvement with the discovery of the famous ruby slippers during the time of the 1970 MGM costume & wardrobe sale and for creating a market for Hollywood memorabilia. The coat is accompanied by a personal letter typed on typing paper and signed in ink by Mr Warner and notarized dated 1979 stating how he came to own this item that belonged to Ms Monroe. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
