Madonna Custom Stage Played Acoustic Guitar (Photo-Matched).

A Breedlove N25e/R acoustic guitar custom ordered for Madonna and played by her onstage while performing the song "La Isla Bonita" on the first 14 performances of Madonna's 2001 Drowned World Tour, in Barcelona, Milan, Berlin, and Paris.

The guitar has rosewood back and sides, western red cedar top, and "B" inlaid with mother-of-pearl at the top of the neck. Serial number 2278. Madonna played this guitar in the initial leg of the tour, while her other custom N25 was being built by Breedlove Guitars. The guitar Madonna used for the rest of the tour differs in its mermaid inlay on the neck. This guitar has the original strings used by Madonna on tour.

Accompanied by the original hardshell Breedlove Guitars case; a letter of authenticity signed by Peter Newport, president of Breedlove Guitar Co., stating that this was the guitar that Madonna practiced on and used for her stage performances; a copy of a press release from the guitar company; two invoices from Breedlove for the two guitars custom ordered by Chris Littleton (Madonna's tour manager) that were to be shipped to Monte Pittman (Madonna's guitar instructor); and copies of images of her playing the guitar.

Authentication: Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
