James Brown Owned & Worn Jade Cufflinks

James Brown owned and worn jade cufflinks. From the collection of the late Irwin Pate who passed away in May 2018. Irwin was a renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades. He promoted talent all over the United States and Internationally and during his career he and his wife Clarine obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. Irwn worked as James Brown's booking and promotional manager in the 1960s. They continued to work together on occasion in the following years and were also very close friends until James Brown passed away in 2006. These cufflinks have been in the Pate collection ever since Irwin first obtained them. Very good vintage condition. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Irwin Pate's widow, Clarine Pate on the Pate company letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
