Janis Joplin Owned & Worn Multi-Colored Striped Jacket

Janis Joplin's owned and worn multi-colored striped jacket. From the collection of the late Irwin Pate who passed away in May 2018. Irwin was a renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades. He promoted talent all over the United States and Internationally. During his career Irwin and his wife Clarine obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. Irwin knew Janis Joplin and worked with her on a few occasions. During one of their meetings Irwin told Janis about his collection. Janis then gifted Irwin a few items for his collection, and included in these items was this multi-colored striped jacket that she no longer needed. The jacket has been in their collection every since. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Clarine Pate on Pate company letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
