A piece of Rolling Stones Fan Club letterhead paper on is dated 24th October 1965 on which a letter has been typed giving permission for a Miss Diane Barrow and Eva Alder to gain backstage access at the Rolling Stones performance that took place at Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto, Canada on 31st October 1965. The letter has been signed by Bill Wyman in blue ballpoint pen. It reads ‘Dear Sirs, This letter is to certify that Miss Diane Barrow and Eva Adler have been given permission by the Rolling Stones to meet them backstage at the Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto on Sunday 31st, before the show. Would any persons reading this letter give the after mentioned girls every assistance to reach the Rolling Stones as arranged. Thank you (Bill Wyman) ROLLING STONES’. It comes in its original mailing envelope that is addressed to Mr. ABODIAC. The letter measures 20.5cm x 25.5cm (8 inches x 10 inches). There is a rust stain on the top right edge which has been caused by a paperclip. The condition is otherwise excellent. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
