An incredible piece of Eric Clapton memorabilia. This is a Music Week Magazine issued on January 10th, 1998 that features Eric Clapton on the cover. Eric Clapton has written on the cover, “What will you do when you get lonely and there's nobody waiting by your side!” after signing the cover in black felt tip pen. These are the handwritten lyrics to one of his most iconic songs, Layla. “Layla” was a song Clapton wrote, with Dominos drummer Jim Gordon, about his forbidden love for the wife of his close friend George Harrison. An incredibly rare piece of music history, the autograph and writing are very bold. Very good condition. Measures 8.5 x 11. Comes with a Roger Epperson (REAL) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
