Bruce Springsteen Original Handwritten "Jungleland" Working Lyrics JSA

Bruce Springsteen's handwritten working lyrics from his early iconic song "Jungleland."Handwritten in blue ballpoint pen on lined white notebook paper. Of the seven lines written here, only one made it into the recorded version "Through bedrooms locked in whispers" which became "In a bedroom locked in whispers". Springsteen's epic song was 9:33 in length, and it took Springsteen and the E Street Band an incredible 19 months to complete its recording - the first rehearsal take took place on January 8, 1974 at 914 Sound Studios, Blauvelt, New York and the completed version was recorded on July 20, 1975 at the Record Plant in New York City. From the very beginning it was considered the centerpiece of "the wildly successful "Born to Run" album, it is the closing song. These handwritten lyrics came from the collection of Springsteen's manager Mike Appel, who also co-produced "Born to Run" and "Jungleland" with Springsteen. Very good condition. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authenticity (JSA) and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity
