Elvis Presley's owned and worn 10kit gold and diamond ring, containing approximately 20 diamonds. From the collection of the late Irwin Pate who passed away in May 2018. Irwin was a renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades. He promoted talent all over the United States and Internationally and during his career. Irwin knew Elvis Presley and he was also good friends with his manager Colonel Tom Parker. Irwin worked with Elvis and the Colonel several times over the years before Elvis passed away. Irwin and his wife Clarine obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers during his career as a booking agent and promotional manager. When traveling on concert tours Irwin often would obtain many of these articles from both tour crew members or venue staff. This 10kt gold ring with roughly 20 tiny diamonds was given to a venue employee by a very generous Elvis Presley. The employee, a young lady, had spent some time with Elvis after the show, and after he gave her the ring she wore it around her neck for a while before she got married. A few years later she sold it to Irwin after he told her of his collection. The ring has been in the Pate's collection up to the time of this auction. Very good vintage condition. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Irwin Pate's widow, Clarine Pate on the Pate company letterhead, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
