Grateful Dead lead guitarist and singer Jerry Garcia handwritten lyrics for the song “Day’s Between”. “Day’s Between” is a song released on Grateful Dead’s “So Many Roads” album, which was released right after Garcia’s death. “Day’s Between” was very popular, and played on many live shows before being released on the album. 48 lines, handwritten in ballpoint pen by Garcia. These are the complete working lyrics, with some slight variations and cross-outs in the lyrics. The lyrics originate from a notebook that Garcia was using to write his last album. The notebook came from Steve Brown, who was an employee at Grateful Dead Records. An amazing piece of Garcia history, and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get handwritten lyrics by Garcia!
