Former President Herbert Hoover has signed this letter typed on the stationery of his alma mater Stanford University from where he graduated in 1895 and later served on their Board of Trustees. In hopeful sentiment apparently expressed before United States direct involvement in World War II, Hoover writes, “My cordial reciprocations in return, with the hope that peace and good will may come to all the world in 1941.” Signed in black fountain pen. Folded to a size 6 X 8. Good condition with handling marks particularly about the upper left corner. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
