Roger Peckinpaugh, shortstop and captain for Washington's team took this candid photo on September, 10th 1925. Good condition with purposeful cut on top right for publication. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity. Also in this bundle is a photograph of J. Carlisle Smith. J. Carlisle Smith, or just plain Smith as he is known on the field, war born near Greenville, S.C. on April 6th 1890 and when old enough to play in major league company was given a job with the Brooklyn Nationals as a Trolley Dodger. He didn't love the job, but got his big break when a "P.D.Q" was sent out and became the third baseman for the "Braves". This photo was taken on 09/30/1914 of the 3rd baseman. Sold as is.
