Famous Republican Senator and historian from Massachusetts Henry Cabot Lodge has signed this typewritten letter dated 1912, “H.C. Lodge,” in blue fountain pen. Accompanied by its’ original mailing envelope. During his tenure in the Senate (1918-1924) Lodge made efforts to support the voting rights of African-Americans and had battled with President Woodrow Wilson in 1919 over the Treaty of Versailles. Very good condition. 8 X 5. Comes with a Beckett Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
