From the Ohio KISS Museum. Casablanca Records presented radio personality Ron Brandon this heavy wooden "Camel" clock wall display with a plaque thanking him for his contribution for "..Making 1976 The Year We Got Over The Hump" (the plaque is strategically placed right below the Camel's hump). Apparently the radio personality played an important role in the company's success. Ron Brandon legendary career began at an early age, in a most auspicious way. Ron was only 17 years old he was the radio engineer for Tupelo, Mississippi's WTUP radio station when he recorded Elvis Presley's historic 1956 Tupelo Fair concert as well as the interviews the station did that day with Elvis (station's Charlie Watts did the interview). He had only been working at WTUP for a few months when this historic day came. This wood display measures approximately 25 x 2 x 15 and has metal attachments on the back to use for hanging. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll® Certificate of Authenticity.
