Tupac Shakur hand-wrote this two-page love letter, two one page poems or song lyrics and two recipes to Simi when he was incarcerated at the Clinton Correctional Facility, September, 1995. All pages measure 8 x 10.5 and are handwritten and signed in blue ballpoint and red ballpoint pen. Tupac and Simi had been corresponding for a few months after she initially wrote to him with her photo and over the months their relationship deepened until Tupac was quite in love with her. Tupac has dated the letter September 9, 1995 and signed it "Passionately 2PAC." He asks her how things have been going since they spoke, did she try her recipes and how he has been having visions of making love to her. He writes that it's agonizing not to be able to be with her and that he is trying to be patient and he hope she is too. He has also written two poems or song lyrics, one titled "Within My Armz" and the other titles "It's Me Again". He has signed and dated each one, Sept 4, 1995, and written that they were for Simi. Tupac has included two handwritten recipes for "Special 'getti" and "2Pac's Bar B Q Chicken". Handwritten in red ballpoint pen on two paper folded paper towels measuring 9.5 x 2.75 each. Very interestingly it appears he has also written a small "life" wish list on the back of the Spaghetti recipe that reads: 1) happy home 2)good career 3) kids (with something crossed out) 4) married someone (with a heart) 5) everyone come around, not far, family etc... 6) Health (with an arrow). accompanied by the original 9.5 x 4 envelope hand addressed by Tupac, with his handwritten return address and inmate number. Comes with the envelope is post dated September 12, 1995 and bears the Clinton Correctional Facility stamp as well. Very good condition.
