This rare rolled poster is a map of “Middle Earth” as told in J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings.” The poster features the artwork of Barbara Remington, artist and illustrator best known for her cover-art for Ballantine Books first paperback editions of Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings.” This attractive poster was released as a promotion in conjunction with the 1965 Ballantine paperback book edition of “The Lord of the Rings.”
