Led Zeppelin Band Signed “Led Zeppelin IV” Album (JSA & REAL)

A UK vinyl pressing of the Led Zeppelin album ‘Led Zeppelin IV’ that has been autographed on the front cover by the group in ballpoint pen. Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham and John Paul Jones have signed in blue ballpoint pen. Robert has added the inscription ‘Best wishes’ above his name. The signatures were obtained by Jimmy Page shortly before the release of the album for Jim Blake who was the son of Barbara Blake, at the time Barbara was in the employment of Jimmy. According to Jim Blake: "My mother, Barbara Blake worked for Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin at his home in Shooters Hill, Pangbourne in the early 1970s. Jimmy used to visit my parents house in Purley-On-Thames with his wife Charlotte Martin and his daughter Scarlet. This copy of Led Zeppelin IV signed by all four members was given to my mother Barbara as a Christmas present for me in the early 1970s". The album was released on 8th November 1971. Headlined by “Stairway to Heaven” — which is consistently ranked the greatest rock song of all-time by numerous fans and critics alike — the album has sold over 37 million copies worldwide to date. Led Zeppelin was already recognized as one of the great bands of their time, but this album catapulted them to unimaginable heights. Very Good Condition.
