The beloved, multi-talented Lawrence Welk has signed this letter on his professional letterhead in blue ballpoint pen. In the letter, dated April 1, 1966, , Welk is responding to a man who had offered compositions for Welk to include on his TV show, and graciously wished him a belated happy 80th birthday.
