Larry Holmes Twice- Signed Original Passport and Signed Vaccination Document. World Heavyweight Champion Larry Holmes has signed this original (expired) passport in blue ballpoint pen. He has also signed, and handwritten his address on the "International Certificates of Vaccination" document that is stapled inside the passport, also in blue ballpoint pen.
The passport, issued in 1974 and expiring on June 11, 1980, includes the historic bout when Holmes met Ken Norton on June 9, 1978, for a tough, competitive fight - in which at the end of fourteen rounds, each of the three judges scored the fight dead even at seven rounds each. Holmes rallied late in the fifteenth to win the round on two scorecards and took the WBC heavyweight title by a split decision.
The passport, closed, measures 4 in x 6 in.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, handwriting is strong and clear.
