LIVE Aid 7/13/1985 Original Painting With Logo Used In TV Broadcast of Iconic Concert.

This incredible painting with the LIVE AID Logo was used during the broadcast of the iconic concerts, this one in Philadelphia.

Per the consignor who got the painting, the story is: “I was backstage at Live Aid in Philadelphia, helping Eric Clapton. After the entire show was over, I walked back through his dressing room to find a program I had inadvertently set down and left there. The room looked like a cyclone had hit it. Luckily, I found the program in the trash along with a bunch of other papers and posters. Also in the trash was a rolled up canvas. I unrolled it and realized it was a large hand-painted poster of the Live Aid logo that had been used for the TV cameras to shoot when the TV broadcast went to a break. It had been discarded along with other papers and posters. I brought it home and framed it.”

This historic painting was used during one of the most iconic concerts of all time.

Good condition.
