Presented here is a one-of-a-kind collection of "The 'Priest' They Called Him" related artifacts headlined by a Kurt Cobain and William S. Burroughs dual-signed record sleeve artwork. Cobain — grunge legend and the front man for Nirvana — teamed up with American novelist Burroughs for a nearly 10-minute spoken word/experimental rock track originally released as just a limited edition 10" vinyl. Burroughs performs a deadpan reading of "The Junky's Christmas" over Cobain's guitar backing.
This lot contains a signed sleeve artwork for "The 'Priest' They Called Him", as well as a master CD with 16+ minutes of additional guitar from Cobain. Also included in this lot is an original "The 'Priest' They Called Him" CD, two sealed copies of the vinyl release, a vinyl test pressing, 2 contact sheets of photographs of Cobain playing guitar, and xeroxes of Cobain's communication with producer Thor Lindsay. All in Very Good condition or better. Various sizes. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
