KISS Peter Criss 1973/1974 Number 3 Shaped Pendant Worn During Recording of KISS Debut Album to "Hotter Than Hell".
KISS Peter Criss 1973 1974 Number 3 Shaped Pendant worn during the Recording of Kiss Debut Album thru Hotter Than Hell -- 1 of a Kind item purchased from Lydia Criss at the 1987/1988 NY Kiss Convention.
Chunky silver color metal iconic number "3" shaped pendant with diamondesque accents (not actual diamonds) worn by Peter as a signature embellishment on his early costumes and clothes. The pendant was originally purchased at some point in 1972 and can be seen during this time period in the Lydia Criss book on pages 56 / 57 -- The pendant was worn during some highly significant early milestones like the Recording of the First Kiss Album at Bell Sound Studios, the Red Room photo shoot tied into the Debut Album promo poster, the Casablanca Debut Album release kickoff party in California, the Hotter Than Hell album photo session, and random sightings in between like for example June 8, 1974 in the Woodfield Shopping Center in Schaumburg Illinois for "The Great KISS Off" contest.
Furthermore, and an overlooked super important detail, it simply depended on how Peter was standing during a photo if the pendant was in view of the photographer -- So two examples of the pendant being worn but is out of sight is on the First Album Promo Poster and on the Hotter Than Hell Album Cover because of the dark artwork --- Please note some of the accent stones are missing on the front and the clasp is missing on the backside -- Overall a highly significant recognizable artifact from the time when the foundation of the Kiss Empire was being built 50+ years ago.
