KISS Eric Carr 1987-1988 Crazy Nights Tour Chikara Bass Drum Concert Stage Used -- Eric's Silver Chrome Metal plated Chikara Logo drum set is one of the most famous Kiss Drum Sets ever created -- The massive custom-made kit was used by Eric Carr for the Crazy Nights World Tour 1987 - 1988 and was also seen in the music videos promoting the Crazy Night's album; the drum set is known worldwide by ever Kiss Fan -- Here's your chance to own one of the bass drums from that kit. This bass drum is double the length of a standard bass drum and was created by fusing 2 separate bass drums together and then wrapping both drums within a single metal shell. If you look closely, there's electronic wiring within the inner wood shell of the drum; that's an electronic drum trigger which is used in the amplifying process for concert sound. Between the physical size of the drum compounded with the trigger, this drum sounded like a cannon especially in the manner at which Eric played. Focus your attention to the sandpaper looking grip tape on the edge of the drum, that tape was present on just the 2 bass drums sitting in front of Eric. The grip tape is there to prevent Eric from slipping during the concert moment when Eric stands up on his bass drums to hail the crowd --- Measures 35.5 x 25 x 26 --- formerly owned by Eric Carr & purchased directly from the Carravello Family. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
