KISS Ace Frehley 1957 Vintage Gibson Les Paul Black Beauty Concert Stage Played Rocket Shooter Guitar from the 1996 Alive Worldwide Reunion Tour Serial Number 7 6144 with matching COA Signed by Ace Frehley -- If you saw KISS in concert on the Reunion Tour, then you saw Ace perform with this Les Paul guitar -- It slayed the crowd at Tiger Stadium, Madison Square Garden, LA Forum, Chicago, Monsters of Rock Castle Donington Festival, Philadelphia, New Year's Eve in NJ, Japan, Australia, Europe, etc. Ace played this guitar each night during the guitar solo portion of the concert when he used it to shoot rockets at his Smoker Guitar suspended up in the lighting rig. After the Reunion Tour, Ace retired the guitar. Since retirement, this guitar hasn't been played and hasn't been on display. It has been stored safely in its' case within the previous owner's home. Ace personally setup the guitar and it has been that way ever since. The guitar is in working condition and can be played and enjoyed; no rockets included.

As for overall condition, the guitar has all the mileage and battle scars from the Reunion Tour along with the Dynasty and Unmasked Tours. The Rocket Guitar is actually a 2 pickup Les Paul with a dummy middle pickup insert glued to the guitar body to give the appearance this is a 3-pickup guitar.

Just to be clear, this guitar is not a reissue. Ace heavily modified a vintage 1957 Les Paul to shoot pyro rockets because in the late 1970's, there wasn't a vintage guitar market like what exists today. Older guitars were for the most part just considered used guitars, so it was easy to go out and buy a 1957 Les Paul in the late 1970's, and modify it without regret because these weren't that expensive. And if that wasn't enough.... The lucky winner will also receive 2 photo clippings out of the Silver Reunion Tourbook plus a 3rd that was Signed, along with a 4x6 concert photo and a Signed 8x10 photo all for your new display. So, here's your chance to own a true KISS concert show stopper that mesmerized audiences around the world. Comes with an Ace Frehley Signed Certificate of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
