Johnny Cash was one of the most popular country singer-songwriters of all time. With so many of his songs containing themes of sorrow, moral tribulation, and redemption, the offered item here comes as no surprise. It’s two one-sided pages of Gospels II religious notes and answers that Cash himself wrote in on the blank portions of both pages to fulfill what appears to be religious instruction. For example, he wrote that the cross is the “mainspring” of “repentance” which is the sorrow for sin. All writing appears in black ink and the well-worn pages show their age from several decades ago with serious toning and stains throughout.
