John Wayne has signed and inscribed this vintage 8 in x 10 in black and white "True Grit" photograph in which is wearing his famed black patch, in black felt-tip pen. Wayne has written, "Kenneth - Good Luck & Thanks, John Wayne." Beautifully signed and inscribed by the Hollywood Western Movie great! John Wayne won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role as Rooster Cogburn in this film. Upon accepting his Oscar, Wayne said, "Wow! If I'd known that, I'd have put that patch on 35 years earlier.
