Offered here is an incredibly unique piece of Beatles memorabilia. The original sign-in book for all Apple employees from 11/25/1969-11/30/1969. The highlight of the book is three incredible John Lennon signatures all done in black felt tip pen. One of the autographs Lennon wrote, “John Yoko Lennon” while the other two he simply wrote, “John & Yoko”. The book has significance because in November 1969, after Brian Epstein died, Alan Klein insisted in a memo that everyone who goes in and out of Apple had to sign-in. The memo copy is attached to this sign-in sheet. The book has a who’s who of Apple employees, and other names include: Nigel Oliver, Ron Tolson, Debbie Wellum, Mavis Smith, Brian Capocciama, Tony Bramwell, Ishmael Kassam, Derek Taylor, Stephen Brandell, “Under Protest” (Which could be George Harrison”, Tony Bramwell and someone by the name of “Dentist” (Possibly drug dealer). Some of these engineers went on to produce great records such as The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. John Lennon’s time of signing the Apple sign-in sheet line up with the dates of the final edit of “Look Up The Number (You Know My Name)" by the Beatles and it was this weekend that John Lennon returned his MBE to the queen! The sign-in sheets were met with so much resistance that after a few days it was no longer used. What you have here is the only sign-in sheet that was used for Apple Corps Limited. A must-have for any Beatles collector. Measures 8.5 x 11.5. Good condition. Comes with a Frank Caiazzo Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
