John Lennon Signed "Imagine'' Royalty Agreement with EMI Records.

John Lennon has signed this document on EMI Records letterhead which ultimately served as a "Royalty Agreement" for 50,000 copies of his solo LP, "Imagine" to be shipped to the USSR.

At the time, Rock and Roll records were very much frowned upon in the Soviet Union, which adds to the allure and uniqueness of this document, especially related to Lennon’s masterpiece “Imagine”.

The letter is dated January 4, 1977.

Signed by John in black felt tip pen.

Dimensions: Approximately 8.25 in x 11.5 in.

Condition: With holes on the upper left corner where the letter had once been stapled, this is probably EMI's original file copy of the agreement letter.

Authentication: Letter from Beatles handwriting expert Frank Caiazzo and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
