John Lennon Owned & Worn Blue Denim Zip-Up Jacket
John Lennon's owned and worn blue denim zip-up jacket with pockets comes from the personal collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades, Irwin Pate, and his widow Clarine Pate.
Irwin promoted talent all over the U.S. and during his career he and his wife obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. It was during one of his meetings with John that Irwin told him about his collection, and John then gave Irwin some items for collection, including this western-style blue denim zip-up jacket. The jacket remained in the collection of the Pates for many years.
