John Lennon Owned & Used Kodak 8 Camera.
This Kodak 8 camera was owned and used by the Beatles John Lennon. John left it behind after a Beatles concert where it was rescued by a venue employee. The clock comes from the personal collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades, Irwin Pate, and his widow Clarine Pate, who built an impressive collection of entertainment memorabilia.
During his illustrious career, Irwin Pate and his wife Clarine collected many stage and personally worn, clothing and accessories, from the talent he worked with. Sometimes he would acquire items that were left behind by entertainers in their dressing room. According to the detailed letter from Irwin's widow Clarine, Irwin obtained this camera from a venue employee who had kept it as a memento after it was left behind by John at a Beatles concert. Subsequently, the employee who had retrieved it, sold it to Irwin. It remained in the Pate's collection for many years.
