Offered here is one of the ultimate pieces of John Lennon memorabilia.

This is John Lennon’s 1966 Fender Dual Showman Amplifier Head, serial number 05389 used during the Plastic Ono Band/Elephant’s Memory period in John Lennon’s life. The amp was used on stage for various performances, most notably the iconic 1972 New York City concert and the One to One concert where this amp can clearly be seen.

The amp has “PLASTIC ONO BAND & ELEPHANT’S MEMORY” stamped in white on the top.

The amp has been authenticated by Gary Von Scyoc, a former member of the Plastic Ono Band who says, “I, Gary Von Scyoc, certify that this 1966 Fender Dual Showman Amp chassis ser. no 05389 is indeed the genuine amplifier John Lennon’s Plastic Ono Band and Elephant’s Memory Band, of which I was a member during the iconic August 30th, 1972 ‘John Lennon Live in New York City’ MSG concert as well as numerous recording sessions of John Lennon”.

Famed Beatles historian Howie Edelson said that is a very strong possibility that this amp was amongst the amps that were sent to The Beatles by Fender in 1966 when they switched from Vox amps to Fenders. Meaning this amp could have been used during the Lennon’s time with the Beatles. Regardless, this amp is a piece of history and can be seen used by Lennon through the 1972’s.

A must-have for any collector.

Comes with a Gary Von Scyoc and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
