John Lennon has handwritten this humorous note "To D. Blackburn (MR)!" in blue ballpoint pen, signing it "all the best from the Beatles, John Lennon" on 8 x 5.5 white, lined paper. He has added in a PPS "Glad you liked the shews" (underlining "the shews" perhaps referring to the Ed Sullivan show?), and further adding in another PPS, "All the rumours are a lot of Rubbish!" (underlining "All" twice. The note has been professionally repaired where it had once been cut into two separate pieces, above "PPS Glad you liked the shews" across and under the Lennon signature all the way to the other side. A very good, professional repair. The writing is clear and strong, the paper has some foxing. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
