Extremely Rare - Never-Before-Heard By Public - John Lennon Recording of "Summertime" 1967.
An extremely rare, -never-before-heard by the public cassette tape that John Lennon made of himself singing George Gershwin's classic "Summertime." Recording at his Kenwood home in 1967, John's version is anything about classic. John's strung-out version has him wailing out the lyrics with some hair raising screaming, with a recording time of approximately four minutes.
This is an extremely rare opportunity to hear John fooling around at home and going all-out on a rather tame classic! Notably, John plays a Gibson J-160E, the guitar most associated with the Beatles.
