John Glenn has signed this photograph of himself “JH Glenn Jr.” using a black ballpoint pen. Glenn was the third American in space and the first to orbit the Earth, doing so in 1962. From 1974 to 1999 he served as a US Senator out of Ohio. Very Good condition. Measures 8” x 10”. This lot comes from the extensive personal collection of a life-long collector of Historical, Entertainment and Sports artifacts and memorabilia. The collector has amassed a virtually unmatched collection that is one of the largest we have ever seen. This lot comes with a letter from Gotta Have Rock and Roll.com stating that it was sold in the Gotta Have History Winter Auction, February 16-25, 2022.
