One is signed by former US Senator, Dewitt Clinton as Mayor of New York City dated February 25, 1811 in the amount of $1,000.00 (7.875 X 5) and the second signed by John A. Dix (Secretary of New York State and yet to serve as US Secretary of the Treasury and Governor of New York) and others dated October 20, 1837 for the amount of $2,000.00 (6.5 X 5).
