John D. Rockefeller Jr. Signed Letter (JSA).

Financier and philanthropist John D. Rockefeller Jr. signed typewritten letter made on his stationery from “Rockefeller Center, New York…,” dated February 9, 1945 to Evangeline Booth (addressed “Dear General Booth”) the active fourth General of the Salvation Army and the daughter of its founder William Booth. In his complimentary letter, Rockefeller expresses his gratitude to Booth for her remarks about his address before the Protestant Council and he then compliments Booth’s impact on “…Christianity on the world. Your organization has been an outstanding example of religious cooperation.”

Dimensions: 8 in X 10.5 in.

Condition: Light toning about edges from once being framed. Very good condition.

Authenticity: James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
