Two page four sided handwritten document pertaining to the settlement of an estate matter among family members and relatives of John C Calhoun, which outlines the names, ages and disposition of family owned slaves. Calhoun served as Vice President under President John Quincy Adams (1825-1832) and was an outspoken advocate in defense of slavery and the interests of slave owners.
