An incredibly rare set of custom-made drum sticks used by the great John Bonham. The sticks were used circa 1975 at the height of Led Zeppelin’s fame. The prime hickory drum sticks have “John Bonham” embossed on each stick along with “Hickory”. Made by Led Zeppelin drum builder Eddie Ryan, the custom 5B Prime Hickory drum sticks measure 15.95 long by .59 in diameter. Coming straight from drum tech Jeff Ocheltree, John Bonham’s friend, Jeff took them straight out of Bonham’s bag and John gave them to Jeff. The sticks show incredible wear, as Bonham used them on multiple occasions. The photo shown here with the lot is not the drumsticks being offered, it is shown as a reference to Bonham's style of drumming. Comes with a letter of provenance and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
