John Belushi Signed Typed Letter Referencing "Animal House" and "SNL" (Beckett).

Beloved comedien John Belushi has signed this December 8, 1977 typed letter on NBC letterhead in blue ballpoint pen. The letter is addressed to Harry Gittes at Paramount Pictures and appears to be typed by Belushi himself - one can see Belushi's irreverence in the type style. Gittes was a very successful film producer, who had produced the film "Goin' South" with Jack Nicholson and John Belushi. In the letter, Belushi asks "What's happening with the film? All reports say that I was great and your were terrible." He goes on to say the he just finished "Animal House" (both films were released in 1978) and invites Gittes to come see "the show" (Saturday Night Live) of which Belushi was in the incredible original cast. There is a picture of Belushi from the famous food fight scene in Animal House that is attached to the front of the letter, at the bottom right.

Dimensions: 8 in x 10.5 in.

Condition: Very good. It has been encapsulated by Beckett Grading Services.

Authentication: Beckett Grading Services authetnicated and encapsulated and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
