NFL Hall of Famer Joe Montana signed this game worn San Francisco 49ers jersey of his using a black sharpie pen. The jersey also has an inscription in gold sharpie over a black rectangle detailing the game in which this jersey was worn. The inscription reads, “12-3-90 vs. Giants/ 7 to 3 Victory, 1 Touchdown Pass.” The jersey comes from the latter of his two MVP seasons in which he led the 49ers to a league-best 14-2 season and recorded 3,944 yards and 26 touchdowns.

Montana is considered to be one of the top two or three quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL, and his career resume is the stuff of legend. He led the 49ers to four Super Bowls with co-NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Rice, and also won two MVPs during his time in the league. His game winning touchdown pass against the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Championships game in 1981 that has since been named “The Catch” is perhaps the league’s most iconic and enduring play ever. Montana earned the nicknames “Joe Cool” and “the Comeback Kid” for his clutch performances and routine fourth quarter comebacks. He was also named a member of the 1980s All-Decade team. Very Good Condition. Comes with a Letter of Provenance, a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
