Jimi Hendrix Owned & Worn Red "Cowboy" Style Shirt from the Collection of Mike Quashie.

Jimi Hendrix owned and worn long sleeved red "cowboy" style shirt with brown beaded shoulders and collar from the collection of Mike Quashie.

Matthew "Mike" Quashie was known as the Limbo King and was an early champion of the young Hendrix, often letting him crash at his Bedford St. apartment in Greenwich Village, New York City, which became known as “Jimi’s Hideaway” after Hendrix’s death. It is believed that it was Quashi who influenced Hendrix's "voo-doo" persona. Condition: The shirt shows wear including holes in the elbows.

Authentication: Letter from Mike Quashie and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
