Jimi Hendrix owned and worn brown suede fringe vest with beads. Jimi gave the vest to a friend, the father of Theresa Merklinger. Theresa's father had the vest for many years and then Theresa came into possession of it. She reached out to Brazilian Leather to confirm it's authenticity, and Brazilian Leather in turn reached out to famed North Beach Leathers owner Bill Morgan who confirmed that he believed it highly likely that it did indeed belong to Jimi Hendrix. He based his opinion on the similarity of the vest to the jacket he wore at Woodstock and performed his historic version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" and more importantly of his memory of a conversation he had back in the day of Jimi purchasing such a vest, one that was very similar to his Woodstock jacket, most likely at a boutique in Greenwich Village. Very good vintage condition. The vest comes with a letter from Bill Morgan, an envelope that contained the letter was sent in, and a copy of the email from Brazilian Leather to Theresa regarding Bill's confirmation of authenticity. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
