On a sheet of Cumberland Hotel (London) stationery, Jimi Hendrix has handwritten a love poem: "she said she comes from ice land…I told her I was from the west - she took me to the snow capped mountains - and then she put me through the test - we walked across the glacier, the horses stayed behind...and as we laid between the frozen vallies - we kissed for the very first time - and now we're stuck together." This very same manuscript was published in 1993's "Jimi Hendrix - The Lost Writings - Cherokee mist" compiled by Bill Nitopi. The poem is written is red ballpoint pen on a 6" x 8.25" unlined sheet with a handwritten phone number on the reverse. The poem is framed with a 10" x 13" color photograph of Hendrix to measure 18.25" x 34.5". Excellent condition. Estimate: $22,000 - $25,000.
